b/c

b/c is D.E. Oprava’s fifth collection of poems and was published by Knives, Forks, and Spoons Press in February 2012. This is a seminal creation whose poems search and stretch our understanding of the human condition and language.

They are poignant, witty, experimental, and in some cases, quantum.

“This is sub-atomic poetry. In the particle accelerator of the mind, specks of knowledge collide with instant perceptions, giving off tiny sparks of short-lived ideas.

Oprava has built the high-speed camera and photographed these illuminating, everyday events.”

“...a writer who "gets" words, what they mean to the eye, and how necessary precision is to the mind of his readers. David Oprava is one of those poets where you read a line and feel as if someone has sucked the breath out of everything you thought you knew about words."
